My Simple Investing Reason

For few years, I followed the stock market, I read about investing, growth, retirement, and money. Then I started to experiment myself. I am fascinated by how western world work versus the eastern world in regard to investment. In eastern world, especially, south east Asia, children are considered to be the investment (of course-literally as well), whereas western world, investment is purely monetary and about finance. Eastern parents think if they raise kids in a proper way, their kids will look after them when they grow old. They save and spend everything for the kids. Western folks have nursing home waiting for them in their old age. If they invested in time, gained some wealth and saved for retirement, it might come handy-otherwise there is lot of trouble, anxiety and depression. Financial freedom, and independence is absolute requirement if we live in western world.

About Me

I am an aspiring writer. I started this blog in 2008. On and off, I blogged for a while. I was continuously interrupted by school, job and other daily things in life. At that time, the purpose of this blog was to act as “work in progress” for my future publications. Although I have a day job as a healthcare worker, I spent lots on time on writing or at this point, thinking about writing. I am also an investment enthusiast. I love philosophy and literature. I spent lot of time thinking about things.

My Aussie Trip

This is my first blog entry this year, after a long interval. 2013 was emotionally draining for me. Death of grandmother among many other things...This year, I have been busy with life’s most important events. First part of the year, I was in Nepal for grandma’s yearly. US visit of my parents, less than boring job, worthless graduate school were the first part of this year’s highlight.

Changed Man in Resistant Nepal

Visiting to Nepal again soon. Travelling long distance  by plane itself is a hassle. On top of that, travelling alone  adds more anxiety to it. On a corner of my nostalgic mind I sing "home sweet home", while  my conscious self says to me- "don't do it fool, (especially if you are visiting Nepal)".

In Defense of Rice and English Abilities

Facebook is flooded with the clip of Bill O' Reilly making fun of  a man from Nepal who was in some kind of UN meeting in USA. Bill made fun of him in Fox show.To a sensitive mind, it is an offense. For people like O Reilly and his fox team, it is a way to grab more dumb audience and catch on to some cheap popularity.
